We are honored at Sheer Ever After to share this beautiful wedding inspiration shoot with you – a most romantic affair inspired by all things sheer.
If you’re a lover of minimal weddings, but want to use these aspects in a lighter and more feminine way – this shoot will show you exactly how you do it.
The colors, textures and attention to detail in this captivating feature are a perfect juxtaposition between ethereal and minimal, balancing gentle softness with clean simplicity, brought together by transparency as the interleaving thread.
From exquisite flower arrangements by Flowers on the Stoep, to a Bride during her boudoir shoot and a day layered in the dreamiest pastel hues will make you fall head over your glass slipper.
We are completely smitten by two of the most romantic wedding gowns with the softest skirts by Cape Town designer Cindy Bam, and even more so by the way that Jaqui Franco Photography has captured this translucent beauty. Everything about these images is so dreamy!
Styled at a rustic-meets-modern location in the Cape winelands with the perfect transparent touches by Two Cherries Events it also features the acrylic stationery handiwork of Epro Products. And don’t miss those delicate crystal Bridal accessories by Wildflower Garter Co!
It is amazing what these talented people are capable of – isn’t just Sheer perfection?
From the team:
We took our inspiration from Southbound Bride trend report for 2018, as we believe translucent and sheers will make a huge impact this season. For this shoot, we started with a soft palette of mellow mint, icy blue and butter lemon and then tried to bring in a sheer or translucent look into all the elements. This lent itself to a minimalistic look so the table was clean and elegant. The stationery suite is perhaps my favorite aspect of this shoot and was a key element in the see through look and feel of the shoot. We even approached the flowers in the same way, by keeping it simple, yet stylish.
